Played this game at a recent NC State tailgate party. They also play cornhole. I'll tell you about that later.

NC State Fair

The North Carolina State Fair is this week and this is my first. I've been to state fairs before but I haven't experienced anything like this before. There is a different more tolerable smell in the air. I attribute most of it to the grilled corn on the cob. Its a charred, earthy smell that lessens the livestock overtones.














Food is one of the main attractions at the fair. I was always afraid of fair food but not here, nobody is. Things appear clean and proprietors are friendly, many of them family businesses.
