Doodles

This is a picture my niece drew for me. Click on it to see it larger. What really tickled me about this drawing is the fact that she labeled all of the colors because she knows I'm colorblind. I also got a kick out of the thought bubbles and their contents.

Dwelling

I was talking to my Mom about the snow in Raleigh and directed her to this site to show her the picture of my snowy apartment complex. She said "Oh, that looks like a nice place." That's when I realized she's never been to my apartment. Then I remembered I promised more than once I'd email her pictures of the inside of my apartment. Here it is. Finally. Yes, those are my shoes on the floor in the doorway. And those are my bad-ass pastel paintings on the far wall.

Relative Big Deal

We've got snow! I think it'll wind up being about 4 inches and has effectively shut down the city. Or at least made the city two hours late. Since I currently live 0.4 miles from work I made it in. Almost on time too! We're breaking all kinds of records here. If I get really bored you can expect to see some sledding pictures.
